Great that you've added the animal friendly requirement. There are enough contraptions that do it otherwise: like this one. (if you look closely, you'll see it's probably not intended as a mouse trap).

Hi all!
I’m really excited by how quickly the designs came flooding in, but suddenly I’m worried I’ll have too much to print in too little time, so I’m going to call a halt to submissions!

If anyone is *in progress* with a design, let me know on the Makerbot User’s Group, and I’ll wait for you to finish. Otherwise I’ll just go with what’s ready to print as of yet.

As mentioned on the group, I’ll judge ties by a few factors, including:
- Elegance or simplicity
- Economy of plastic
- Recycling of ubiquitous waste

Good luck to all who’ve entered, I can’t wait to try the traps!

I’ve thought of some potential designs (and really wish I knew Blender/etc in order to produce them…) but I thought you should know that it’s really easy for mice to chew through soft plastic.
